Rodeway Inn Middletown

The hotel was done over since we first started going there and the appearance is and comfort level is much improved with the remodeling of the bathrooms and the new laminate flooring.

The room we had was a reasonable size and had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was fine. We had difficulty getting the shower to work so I went down to the office and explained the problem expecting it to be sorted during the day but within about 10 minutes there was knock on the door and housekeeping staff had arrived, it seemed the tap was just quite stiff to operate but once we knew that we were able to use it, can't fault the speed with which they came to investigate!

Nice having bananas, cereal, and lots of yummy bread and sweets selection. Front desk person, maintenance, and housekeeping were excellent. Bus 60 drops off in front of this hotel on the way back in from Newport.

Microwave and fridges. I liked how there was Code to get in the building for safety. The bed was super comfortable.

The breakfast was good. It was a quiet area for my husband to be able to have great working conditions. The staff were great to make sure that my husband had a microwave, great desk chair, refrig so he could have lunch handy while working, and to have us on the first floor since we are seniors. The staff were pleasant! Mariana and her sister were awesome! John was so helpful and so pleasant!!! The location of Rodeway was only 6 mins away from where my sister and her family had their timeshare at the Wyndham at Newport timeshare. So we could spend maximum time together!
